Description

🌿In the soft, subtropical climate of Imereti, where mountains slowly wrap themselves in mist and forests պահ centuries of silence, a white tea is born that feels like the gentle breath of nature itself. Terjola wild white tea is not merely a drink derived from a plant; it is space, it is time, and an invisible connection to the earth that settles within every leaf. Here, where humans are still guests rather than masters, the tea grows freely - untamed and independent, like the wind quietly passing through the leaves.

🍃 Its harvesting is a special ritual, as each leaf is carefully selected by hand at the moment when the tenderness of the morning still lingers on its surface and the sun’s rays are just beginning to touch it. This is when nature is at its most sincere, and the leaves preserve their essence in the most delicate way. Nothing in this process is rushed, because it is a story written in the shape of leaves and slowly dried by sunlight, as if every movement is in harmony with the environment and time itself is trying to slow down.

☀️ The uniqueness of Terjola wild white tea lies in its simplicity. Its processing is almost invisible, as the leaves are entrusted only to the warmth of the sun and the gentle movement of the air. There is no intervention that would alter its natural structure, and thus it retains its original form - light, transparent, and harmonious. This is a tea that does not hide its nature, but fully reveals it in every cup.

🌸In its aroma, an entire landscape unfolds: the scent of acacia blossoms, the depth of moist earth, the freshness of grasses, and the softness of sun-warmed air. It does not have a sharp or dominant fragrance; instead, it is quiet, refined, and multi-layered, gradually opening up and allowing you to perceive each subtle detail. Its taste is smooth, almost free of bitterness or heaviness - only a natural sweetness that lingers and settles calmly.

🍵Drinking this tea becomes a kind of inner dialogue. It does not demand attention through intensity, nor does it try to impress with strength. On the contrary, it approaches you slowly, almost imperceptibly, creating a space where you can pause. Each sip seems to slow the passage of time, calm the mind, and remind the body of its natural rhythm. It is a moment when the everyday fades, giving way to peace and renewed energy.

🌱 White tea, by its nature, is minimally processed, which allows it to retain the elements it originally possessed. For this reason, it is considered one of the most delicate and at the same time most valuable types of tea, while the wild Terjola variety enhances this purity even further, as it remains as untouched by human intervention as possible.

🌏This tea is not only about taste or aroma - it is an experience that goes beyond the senses, resembling a journey to places where nature still speaks its own language. Each cup feels like a small window into a world where silence says more than words, leaving behind a calm, subtle yet profound impression that does not fade quickly, but remains as a feeling - an inner tranquility you will want to return to again and again.

🛒 And now, as you can already sense its unique taste and qualities, the most natural next step is to experience it for yourself - bring this exquisite tea into your daily life.

Additional information about product and company

Technical description of Terjola white tea

🍃 About the product: Terjola white tea is a minimally processed premium product originating from the forested hills of Imereti at around 170 meters above sea level. The microclimate, fertile soil, clean air, and high humidity-combined with acacia and hawthorn forests-create ideal conditions and give the tea its unique floral and herbal character.

🍃 Variety and leaf picking: Terjola wild white tea is a high-quality natural plant product made from selected leaves of the tea plant (Camellia sinensis), grown in Georgia’s humid subtropical environment. Harvesting follows premium standards—two leaves and a bud. These ecological conditions—fertile soil and high humidity—create a favorable environment for tea cultivation and ensure stable organoleptic properties.

⚙️ White tea processing technology is based on minimal intervention and includes only two main stages: withering and drying. Rolling is not used, preserving the natural structure of the leaf and reducing intensive tannin extraction. Oxidation remains low—around 5–10%, and the full processing cycle lasts 24–72 hours depending on environmental conditions.

🌬️ During withering, leaves are spread in a thin layer on bamboo or ventilated surfaces and undergo a 12–36 hour process (sometimes up to 48 hours) at 20–30°C and 60–75% humidity. Moisture decreases from 75–80% to 55–65%, the leaf becomes soft and elastic, and mild enzymatic activity begins (5–10% micro-oxidation), creating floral and slightly honey-like aromas.

🔥 During drying, the temperature gradually changes from 80–100°C down to 40–60°C. The high-temperature phase lasts 10–20 minutes, while the lower phase takes 30–90 minutes (sometimes naturally 6–12 hours). Final moisture content reaches 3–5%. Enzymatic activity stops completely, and aromatic compounds are fixed. Air circulation ranges from 0.5–1.5 m/s.

🍂 Final product: Characterized by 3–5% moisture, light green-silvery leaves, delicate floral and honey-like aroma, and a light, intact structure. No rolling is applied, preserving cellular integrity and reducing tannin extraction.

🍵 Infusion color: Light straw to golden, clear and soft in appearance.

🌸 Aroma: Multi-layered—floral, honey-like, with acacia and gentle herbal notes, light and long-lasting in development.

👅 Taste: Wild white tea has a very delicate, light, and slightly sweet flavor, with floral and herbal notes and a honey-like softness. It is not bitter and leaves a clean, smooth, and pleasant finish.

💪 Functional properties: Terjola wild white tea is rich in antioxidants, helping protect cells and slow aging. It strengthens the immune system, reduces stress, and calms the nervous system. It also supports cardiovascular health and improves metabolism.

🧪 Chemically, the tea contains 25–35% polyphenols (EGCG, ECG, EGC), 2–4% L-theanine, 15–30 mg caffeine per 200 ml, flavonoids, phenolic acids (chlorogenic and caffeic acids), and minerals such as potassium, magnesium, manganese, and zinc. Oxidation remains at 5–10%.

🧠 Functionally, it acts as a mild adaptogen: improving concentration, memory, and mental clarity, reducing stress, and providing stable energy.

Preparation: Brew with 75–85°C water, using 2–3 g per 200–250 ml, steeping for 2–4 minutes. A shorter infusion preserves floral delicacy, while a longer one enhances honey-like tones.

🌱 Overall, Terjola white tea is a premium Georgian-origin product with minimal processing, high antioxidant value, and the purity of natural, wild tea leaves.
