Gela Garchagodashvili, a local farmer, resumed a 102 hectare tea plantation about ten years ago, and later bought tea processing machines and began production and today, the enterprise processes up to 20-30 tons of tea leaves daily. In the local market it is known as “Martvili Tea”, “Sadadiano”, and unpacked raw materials are exported abroad.
