Martvili Tea Factory, located in Didi Chkoni, is one of the most distinctive place and It is unique due to its location, size and production technologies. The factory is focused on producing natural tea using modern standards and technologies
Gela Garchagodashvili, a local farmer, resumed a 102 hectare tea plantation about ten years ago, and later bought tea processing machines and began production.
Today, the enterprise processes up to 20-30 tons of tea leaves daily. In the local market it is known as “Martvili Tea”, “Sadadiano”, and unpacked raw materials are exported abroad.
Here you will be able to taste different types of tea, visit factory and plantations, also visitors will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the tea Association and then as well as visit the Martvili Canyon.

They will get acquainted with the activities of the Tea Producers Association and tea tasting will be organized.
