Processing Method: Georgian black tea is produced using traditional Orthodox or modern mechanical methods, depending on the estate. The Orthodox process includes withering, rolling, full
oxidation, and drying, which preserves whole leaves or large broken leaf grades. Mechanically processed variants are also produced, primarily for commercial blends.
Appearance: Dry Leaf: Dark brown to black twisted whole or broken leaves with occasional golden tips (in premium grades)
Liquor: Amber to dark reddish-brown infusion
